Bio: Margaret Woo is a law professor at Northeastern University School of Law. She specializes in litigation and civil rights. She has received grants from a variety of organizations, including the National Science Foundation and the Ford Foundation, and the Fulbright Scholars Program. She has long served as the faculty advisor to the Asian American Law Students Association, and a member of the law school’s Committee Against Institutional Racism. She is also active in Asian American organizations, having served on the board of trustees for numerous organizations, including for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law (Boston Chapter), the Harry Dow Legal Assistance Fund of Boston, and the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund in New York City. Her writings have appeared in Cognescenti, WGBH, Human Rights at Home.
